The Graduate School of Information Science and Electrical Engineering (ISEE) of Kyushu University was established in 1996 as the first graduate school in Japan with a program which integrates Information science and Electrical engineering (I & E) technologies. Since 2010 under the Institutional Program for Young Researcher Overseas Visits funded by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), ISEE is conducting the Program for Promoting Internationalization of Young Researchers. The objective of the latter program is to achieve a novel fusion and development of I & E and to return successfully the achievements to research and education by fostering young researchers through trans-institutional overseas dispatch.
