ISEE 2013
2013 International Symposium on Information Science and Electrical Engineering

The Graduate School of Information Science and Electrical Engineering (ISEE) of Kyushu University was established in 1996 as the first graduate school in Japan with a program which integrates Information science and Electrical engineering (I & E) technologies. Since 2010 under the Institutional Program for Young Researcher Overseas Visits funded by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), ISEE is conducting the Program for Promoting Internationalization of Young Researchers. The objective of the latter program is to achieve a novel fusion and development of I & E and to return successfully the achievements to research and education by fostering young researchers through trans-institutional overseas dispatch.

This Symposium concludes the program with invited talks of relevant, prestigious researchers; oral talks of the long-term dispatchers; and poster presentations of professors and students. The topics of the talks include but are not limited to the followings.

- Machine Learning and Data Mining
- Privacy Preserving Data Mining
- New Development of Data Mining
- Pattern Media Processing
- Network Media Processing
- Real Application of Robot Vision
- Bio-Sensing
- Spintronics
- Inorganic and Organic Optical Devices
- Modeling, Fabrication, Processing and Evaluation of Advanced Materials
- Self-Organization and Formation of Nanostructure
- Nanocomposite and Superconducting Materials
